CITY OF GARRISON
REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
JANUARY 2, 2007
The regular meeting of the Garrison City Council was
held Monday, January 2, 2007 at 7:00
PM. Mayor Schellhase presided. Council members present: Pattee,
Kearns, Flickinger,
Kirchner, Trimble. Others present: Steve
Meyer.
Trimble
moved to approve the agenda and Clerk’s Financial Statements, seconded by Flickinger. Roll
call vote: Ayes: Pattee, Kearns, Flickinger,
Kirchner, Trimble.
Nays: None. Absent: None. Motion carried.
Pattee moved to
approve and place on file the minutes of the regular meeting dated December 4, 2006, seconded by Kirchner. Roll call vote: Ayes: Patee, Kearns, Flickinger,
Kirchner, Trimble.
Absent: None. Nays:
None. Motion carried.
Chief Meyer
presented the 2006 Report of the Garrison Fire Department.
Chief Meyer
requested that a representative from the Council attend the EMA budget meeting
on Monday, January 29, 2007, for support in regard to
the budgetary situation.
A
discussion was held on the proposed addition to the EMS Building. It was determined that the cost would be
split equally between the Fire Department, Garrison Fire Protection Agency and
the City.
Mayor Schellhase appointed the 2007 Commissioners as
follows: Park: Trimble, Flickinger; Water: Pattee, Kearns;
Sewer: Flickinger, Kearns;
Streets: Trimble, Kirchner; Mayor Pro-tem: Pattee;
EMC Representative: Steve Meyer; Building Inspector: Kirchner; Solid Waste: Kearns,
Flickinger; Attorney: Mark Mossman; Rep
BC Solid Waste Commission: Kearns;
Benton Development Group: Demia Sasek; City Clerk: Nancy Flickinger; Maintenance: Craig Pattee.
Kearns moved to approve the claims
list dated January 2, 2007, seconded by Pattee. Roll call vote:
Ayes: Pattee,
Kearns, Flickinger,
Kirchner, Trimble.
Nays: None. Absent: None. Motion carried.
There being
no further business before council, Mayor Schellhase adjourned the meeting at 7:30
PM. All in favor.
