CITY OF GARRISON
REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
FEBRUARY 5, 2007
The regular meeting of the Garrison City Council was
held Monday, February 5, 2007 at 7:00
PM. Mayor Pro-tem Pattee
presided. Council members present: Kearns, Flickinger. Others present: Nancy Baldwin.
Kearns moved to approve the agenda
and Clerk’s Financial Statements, seconded by Flickinger. Roll call vote: Ayes: Pattee, Kearns, Flickinger. Nays: None.
Absent: Kirchner, Trimble. Motion
carried.
Flickinger moved to
approve and place on file the minutes of the regular meeting dated January 2, 2007, seconded by Pattee. Roll call vote: Ayes: Pattee, Kearns, Flickinger.
Absent: Kirchner, Trimble. Nays:
None. Motion carried.
Nancy
Baldwin, OCNT, reported to council that they had received word that they had
been awarded a grant from Trees Forever to plant trees along the nature trail
from Vinton to Dysart.
Council
denied Dick Draisey’s request to trap turtles at the
lagoon.
Flickinger moved to approve Garrison Public Library’s FY
2007-08 annual budget, seconded by Kearns. Roll call vote: Ayes: Pattee, Kearns, Flickinger.
Absent: Kirchner, Trimble. Nays:
None. Motion carried.
Flickinger introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption, seconded by Kearns. Roll call vote: Ayes: Pattee, Kearns, Flickinger.
Absent: Kirchner, Trimble. Nays:
None. Motion carried. Whereupon the Mayor Pro-tem declared the
following duly adopted: Resolution No 2007-01, entitled “A
RESOLUTION SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF
SOLICITING WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMENTS ON THE CITY’S PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR
2007-2008 ANNUAL BUDGET”. Passed and
approved this 5th day of February 2007.
Kearns moved to approve the claims
list dated February 5, 2007, seconded by Pattee. Roll call vote:
Ayes: Pattee,
Kearns, Flickinger.
Nays: None. Absent: Kirchner,
Trimble. Motion carried.
There being
no further business before council, Mayor Pro-tem Pattee
adjourned the meeting at 8:00 PM. All in favor.
